Logo redrawing for cheer coach plaques
Cheer gym logos often survive only on a T-shirt print file, a bow tag or a phone photo of the gym sign. Sideline Trophy Co redraws that artwork as clean lines, sized for an engraved plate or a printed poster, and shows the result on the proof.

We only have our gym logo on a practice shirt. Can you use it?
Yes. Sideline Trophy Co can redraw a gym logo or mascot from a shirt print file, a flat photo or a low-resolution image. The new drawing is checked at the size it will appear, such as the engraved plate of a Cheer Coach Appreciation Plaque. Glitter effects and thin script are simplified, and the proof shows the outcome.
What happens to a shirt logo on a coach plaque?
A team parent is organizing a Cheer Coach Appreciation Plaque for a coach who is retiring after many seasons. The only copy of the gym's original logo is on an old practice shirt. She lays the shirt flat, takes a straight-on photo in daylight and sends it with the coach's name and the squad's chosen message. The logo is redrawn as line art. Its thin script would blur on the plate, so the proof shows a cleaner version beside the original. She picks the cleaner one, and the plaque is given at the banquet with the coach's former athletes in the room.

Ask the team for one shared thought rather than squeezing every separate message onto the plaque. A concise dedication can feel personal, with individual notes presented in a companion card or book.

How do you get a cheer logo ready for an award?
01
Ask the shirt or bow supplier
The company that printed your practice shirts or made your competition bows may still have the original logo file. Ask them for it before you photograph anything.
02
Photograph it flat and straight
If no file exists, lay the item flat in good light and shoot straight down. Wrinkles and angles add work to the redraw and change the shape.
03
Approve the simplified version
Glitter, sparkle effects and tiny script cannot be engraved as they look on fabric. Check the redrawn logo on the proof and confirm it still feels like your gym.

Questions about logo redrawing for cheer coach plaques
We only have our gym logo on a practice shirt. Can you use it?
Yes. Sideline Trophy Co can redraw a gym logo or mascot from a shirt print file, a flat photo or a low-resolution image. The new drawing is checked at the size it will appear, such as the engraved plate of a Cheer Coach Appreciation Plaque. Does redrawing our gym logo add a charge?
It may, since a redraw is design work, and any charge for it is shown on your written quote. A clean file from your shirt printer or bow maker needs less work than a phone photo of a faded print, so ask them first.
Can you add the school's logo next to our squad name?
Yes, with the school's permission. Ask the athletic director or activities office for the approved logo file, and confirm in writing that the school is fine with its use on the award. Send both the file and the approval with your request.
Will our team colors show on an engraved plaque?
Engraving shows in the plate's natural tone, not your team colors. Color appears on printed pieces, such as the Full-Color Cheer Event Poster Package, and on colored acrylic awards. Send your color values for those.
